Friendly staff made us feel welcome.

Our stay was filled with problems. The first room had a tub filled with bugs and dirt. After moving to a second room, we found used towels still in the shower, indicating a severe lack of housekeeping care. To top it off, we were disturbed all night by noise from the guests above us.

Wi-Fi was good, but location felt sketchy and hard to reach staff.

I stayed here for 6 nights in a queen room and really appreciated the easy access to a variety of parks and attractions in the area, making my city strolls enjoyable and stress-free. The quiet area allowed for peaceful evenings after a fun day out.

the north star inn is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the ark encounter, making it a great spot for visitors. we enjoyed the on-site restaurant for dinner and breakfast, which was super helpful in this remote area. the staff was friendly and even wrote us a personal thank you card.

The location allows easy access right off the highway, making it a convenient pit stop for travelers. The rooms feature a spacious layout that suits families or couples looking for comfort during their stay.

The smell inside the room had a bit of dampness, which can be off-putting for some. Despite a three-night stay, communication was minimal, as check-ins were managed solely over the phone. Breakfast, advertised as included, turned out to be just a discount deal at a nearby diner. For dining variety, one has to drive quite a distance south or north as only one diner sits nearby, which can be inconvenient.

The room was clean and comfortable, I liked that it didn’t have wall-to-wall carpet, just a small rug which actually gave it a nice feel. And the folks running this place really went outta their way to make us feel welcomed, even brought us snacks when we checked in.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but considering the overall experience, I’d say it was still acceptable.

The Queen Room was clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere during my one-night stay. The kitchen facilities were impressive, with a refrigerator and microwave that made my stay convenient. Staff interactions were consistently friendly, a real highlight. However, the facility, while well-preserved, felt a bit dated, which might not appeal to everyone.
